Making an Impact

In keeping with the fraternity’s long-standing commitment to community service and Guide Right programs, on the morning of April 29 th DRAC members visited the “Instituto De Idiomas New York Center.” The center provides guidance and instruction to Spanish speaking students who are interested in learning to speak fluent English. During the visit, DRAC provided each student with a bookbag stuffed with various school supplies (pencils, writing pads, crayons, etc.). The students were overjoyed, as many of them had never owned a bookbag previously and the supplies came in handy. At the conclusion of the visit, DRAC provided a $500 scholarship to one of the center students who will soon be attending college.
